Instructions
Printing
Click on the image of the cone-shaped Santa, the template, or the link below them and print the PDF file. Use copy paper for a quick decoration, heavy paper or cardstock for durability, or glue your printout onto thicker paper if you plan to use it as a template for your Santas.
Using Santa as a Template
You can either use the simple Santa as a template or work with the pieces provided in the white template. Print two copies: Use one as a template for the cone shape. From the second printout, you can cut out the white band with the face or the individual pieces (edge, beard, and face) to create your own Santa faces.
Cutting and Assembling
Cut out your Santa – decorate him if you like.
Fold the glue flap along the fold line (using a ruler can help).
Apply glue to the flap.
Assemble the cone by glueing the sides together.
Notes
Santa is constructed like an upside-down cone, just a bit larger. You can create your version by making a red cone, adding a white band and a beard, and drawing a Santa face. You can design your versions using the template pieces or create other figures, such as Mrs Claus or a group of elves.
